Hutton and Heskey bossing the right side of the pitch. World class. Master stroke from Mcleish.

I know a bunch of Villa fans, and feel very sorry for them. You'd have to ask what the fudges going through Mcleish's head...

Albrighton looked great last year - Spurs should sign him in the summer while his stock is low - an excellent option out wide, very hard working - good delivery and goals

Man..You feel manC are the home team....Villa's defense is just watching and trying to block shots...their attack? Not sure they know how to tbh....what a joke of a team

Villa are such a dire team. Heskey on the flank sums it up.

Yep, the sad thing is that they have goals in them with keano and bent but theres no midfield. Villa need to hold until half time and take it from there.

No pressing, no tackling, fans are not singing either. What a boring side.

Good to see Emirates Marketing Project going back to the boring negative set up, I dont know how anybody can say they lay anything like the style we do

Chelsea 1 v 3 Aston Villa

Aston Villa left Chelsea's title challenge in tatters and piled the pressure on beleaguered Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas with a clinical display and thoroughly deserved late win at Stamford Bridge.
Stephen Ireland was the architect for a magnificent victory, scoring one goal and making another as Villa scored twice in the final seven minutes to stretch Chelsea's winless run to four matches.
Ireland, back in the side for the injured Emile Heskey despite recent off-pitch antics , drew the visitors level from close range following Didier Drogba's penalty opener and then teed up a simple third for substitute Darren Bent after Stiliyan Petrov had put Villa ahead on 83 minutes.
Few could argue with the result after another lacklustre display from the Londoners which saw them leave the arena to a chorus of boos and means they drop to fifth spot and out of the Champions League places.

Villa were this bad at the lane and we absolutly tore them apart. City will score at this rate, villa are awful

I wouldn't say it's a negative set up, just that none of their attacking play is coming off. I don't rate Johnson at all.

That pass from petrov was enough to make manC change their shirts...he really looked confused when he passed the ball to the left

Yeah Ireland could do something. What about n'zogbia? These two could change things.

Having said that, a defensive midfielder holding the ball wouldnt hurt them either.

I am hopin villa will come out better than this brick cos this is brick.

I also hope Man bricky wear Villas away shirt as there is such a clash in kits
