The Match of the Day Thread

I read that the chairman of BBC believes the "show" should have less highlights of matches and "it should be built around ANALysis and examination of the match to give viewers a greater insight to the match"
Just what we need more blokes or ladettes who could never get a job managing a team telling a lot of armchair experts what is blood obvious to anyone who has watched a game.

Ridiculous isn't it. They are so out of touch. The story is on the BBC sport website with a comments section. Pretty much every comment is saying the same thing. No! We want more highlights and less chat. Will they listen to their own readers?

I always wonder how much the BBC, SKY, TNT pay all these pundits, some of whom are barely literate. It's a criminal waste of money.

There's only 20 mins of highlights as is.

Looking forward next season with their sexy new presenters, if they don't work out I'm sure Graham Norton, Zoe Ball and Nadia Hussian can replace them. They could make it a lot more fun if viewers could vote on results of the games.
