This just about sums up a lot of things ….. you were a staunch defender of same to the bitter end and even saying what a great manager he was numerous times. I haven’t forgotten. And all of a sudden he takes a job in the world of football which is the norm, you have reduced him to just winning us a trophy.

Can’t make it up
What exactly does it say about me? I look at actions ..

I am genuinely fascinated by his appointment. Think Forest are making a mistake with Nuno after what he achieved there last season. But will be interested to see if Ange's struggles with us in the league last season were just an outlier or does his style of play leave his teams massively exposed at the back which teams in the PL will expose ruthlessly? Personally I think it's the latter but will keep an open mind. Plus hope he beats Arsenal in his first game.

It sums up how easily people forgot their passionate views to the point of defending or attacking to the hilt and it just takes one brick for it to all come crumbling down. Don’t take it personally it’s just society.

But yes in your case I’m not surprised how quickly you flip flopped

Was hoping he would do that when he was at spurs, don’t think he is naive enough to go balls to the wall second time around in the premier league … I hope for his sake.

I won’t be watching his grating post match pressers though.

I was thinking down similar lines.

Will Ange tell a defensive midfielder like Sangare to stop being the protector behind Anderson and MGW and get on the front foot with them? Are the 2 full-backs going to invert and leave their outside open? Will all these players be expected to play one touch football in their own third?

Surely Ange learned a lot from the PL school of hard knocks with us and will setup differently. He has to right?

Of course Forest were successful last season playing the opposite way to what we've come to expect from Ange's teams. And he doesn't have a VDV to get his backline out of trouble if they are exposed on the counter. Plus if he does play "angeball" will we see the injuries mount up again? So many questions... I am glad he's not longer our manager though. But don't bear him any Ill will.

The thing that never ceases to amaze me listening to the radio on the way home is people still refer to his ā€œattractive style of footballā€ personally I thought there were a lot of examples of our football under him being absolutely dire.

People conflating being ridiculously gung-ho and naive, with being ā€œattackingā€ for me.

Attractive football for me is a tactical dismantling of the opposition that leads to wins, not just see what happens and just going for it but getting done with the same patterns of play regularly

You are not clear. What have I flip flopped on? You are surprised that I am displeased with Ange for taking the Forest job? How is that inconsistent with being in favour of him carrying on managing Spurs?
