The Goon Thread

Chelsea pair Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer, Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, Emirates Marketing Project midfielders Phil Foden and Jack Grealish, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Southampton's Aaron Ramsdale have all pulled out

It's easy for all those players to pull out of international duty because they are never going to win anything with their country.
Romero can win with Argentina and if he doesn't go he won't get picked again.

Not sure if this belongs here or not. Whatever. I’m more worried about posting a link from the Daily Mail - I AM TRULY SORRY.

Heard the story reported on TalkSport news update this morning but no sign of it now, hence the newspaper link instead.

It seems that this story won’t go away (assuming it’s the story already discussed elsewhere). And nor should it. It should be properly investigated and prosecuted if appropriate.

I’m not assuming that anyone is or isn’t guilty, by the way.

I’m not either but if you rearrange a certain players name it becomes Rapey T.. a continence, I think not

Not sure if this is the correct thread to post it either

What's the odds of this player being "injured" and not available for selection next game?

Oh... I forgot. It's Arsenal. They don't do decency.

Lots of media outlets running the story now and of course a player is being named online, too. Perhaps finally the club in question will be forced to do the correct thing. Of course, a club having to be FORCED to do the right thing is, in itself, a problem. Clearly, the seriousness of these incidents has been placed to one side amid the desperation to win something. Shameful.

Should deduct all the points they've gained playing him since it became a police matter. Any other profession would have suspending their staff during the investigation.
