Wenger - I have studied Spurs' victory

By Rob Kelly

Ars?¿ne Wenger admits he has studied TottenhamÔÇÖs victory against AC Milan last season - but intends to take a different approach against the Italian giants.

ArsenalÔÇÖs North London rivals secured a narrow 1-0 victory at the San Siro through a late goal by Peter Crouch, before the two sides played out a goalless draw in the second leg.

Wenger has watched both matches but wants the Gunners to take the game to Milan on Wednesday night.

ÔÇ£I have seen [that game], yes,ÔÇØ he said. ÔÇ£Milan had a lot of the ball and Tottenham caught them on the break at the end of the game.

ÔÇ£You never decide when you break, you break when you can. It was a game which was vastly dominated, especially in the second half, by Milan.

ÔÇ£We will not decide at the start of the game that we will sit in our half if we have to, like Tottenham did. We will do it and then try to catch them on the break.

ÔÇ£But at the start we will try to get out of our own half and try to get up there and play. Spurs won the game when they were dominated, but that is football today.ÔÇØ

What we did was called playing a very clever away tie in Europe. I'm surprised he hasn't mentioned their injury list either.

What a fudging prick? I hope Harry puts this up on the dressing room wall at the deathstar weekend after this, the fudging clams...I absomotherfudginglutely want us to destroy them now, not just win but humiliate them...tossers...fudge off Wenger you muppet...ARRGGGHHHHHHHH HATEHATEHATEHATEHATE them! AND WENGER!

I think they have more than enough reason to worry:

Wednesday 15th February
AC Milan v Arsenal

Saturday 18th February 2012
Sunderland v Arsenal

Sunday 26th February 2012
Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur

Saturday 03rd March 2012
Liverpool v Arsenal

Tuesday 06th March 2012
Arsenal v AC Milan

Monday 12th March 2012
Arsenal v Saudi Sportswashing Machine

Saturday 17th March 2012
Everton v Arsenal

Shows how desperate they are to be honest. They are due for a right good smashing, let it be us.

=D>

This. I hope we walk into the deathstar and teach them a lesson. This one's for you Wenger, you fudging prick. BTW, instead of taking cheap shots at other sides, talk about your own...prick!

Getting minimum 3rd, winning the FA Cup, beating them twice and ending up about 15 points in front, that would be brilliant !!!

“We will not decide at the start of the game that we will sit in our half if we have to, like Tottenham did. We will do it and then try to catch them on the break.

We will not decide.....at the start of the game....that we will sit in our half......if we have to
So, if the game dictates that they need to sit in their half, they wont. They will charge forward? Sweet.

We will do it and then try to catch them on the break.
Will you, or wont you do it? Are you confused?

But at the start we will try to get out of our own half and try to get up there and play
So you will do it, but not for the first 10 or 20 minutes. How brave and attacking of you.

Spurs won the game when they were dominated, but that is football today
Spurs won through tactics, and discipline over two legs. Your tactic is basically to copy us, but pretend you arent?

Arsene Knows........how Harry beat Milan

What a prat Wenger is. I know you can't completely rely on stats, but the stats from the BBC match report for that Milan away match were:

Posession: Milan 53% - 47% Spurs
Shots: Milan 11 - 9 Spurs
On Target: Milan 6 - 7 Spurs

Not exactly like we never touched the ball and they had a million more chances than us, we even got more on target than they did!

I think the big thing that winger should think about was him studying a tottenham VICTORY. Tactactilly we got it right yeah we rode our luck at times but we did win. You should never dismiss anything that could force a victory. Also if I was him I would shut up until I am through in my tie of which I think arsenal will go out

Someone should remind him how they performed away to barca last season, what tactical approach see's you not register a single shot the whole game?

its a reasonable synopsis of the way the game went though.........

if you are honest with yourself

(didn't stop me dancing on the table in the pub though!)

actually, we had all the chances in the first half, they had one off target chance to our 4. Yes overall they had more possession (43-57), but we had more territory, so it's not like they did a lot with it, at least not until about half way through the second half. We also had more attacking third passes than them in the first half (they had 40 we had 57).

So to sum up, Wenger is a clam
