The glorious march to CL qualification

I just think if, as expected, we lose away to Emirates Marketing Project, Arsenal would have to drop at least five points in their remaining fixtures for us to finish above them. And that’s without us dropping any more points between now and the end of the season (other than against City).

Wonder how the Europa league will effect them.

It's doubly bad that our horrendous run coincided with great runs by Manure and the Goons. Hopefully Yanited's defeat to Wolves is the start of a reversal.

Happy if we are the only London club in CL next year .... again.

Still about as likely as any other combination among 3-6th

I think all the PL teams have been inconsistent this season. Even Liverpool and ManCity rode their luck many times this season. All the top 6 teams have dropped unexpected points this season. Just imagine, we were in league title race just a few weeks ago but have to fight for the top 4 places now. Amazingly, we are still in top 4 despite being winless in 5 matches. Hope we will win all our remaining matches to finish in top 4 this season.

update:-

We can no longer be caught by the following 12 sides:-

Leicester City - gw 32
Everton - gw 32

Wet Spam - gw 32
Bournemouth - gw 31
Crystal Palace - gw 29
Saudi Sportswashing Machine - gw 29
Brighton & Hove - gw 29
Burnley - gw 29
Southampton - gw 27
Cardiff City - gw 27
Fulham - gw 25
Huddersfield Town - gw 24

PS - Home means Home !

I think it is. They’ve been very, very lucky under OGS. From what United supporting mates have told me their conversion rate on chances has been insane while the oppositions has been below average since Jose was fired. That can’t continue. They’re regressing to the mean.

Arsenal will drop a chunk of points too. It won’t just be 3-4. Third is well in our hands.

You're right. Their actual goals vs XG since OGS has taken over has been ridic. On top of that their goals conceded has been way less than the Xconceded (we contributed to that!).

They also have Barca to worry about.

Me too. While I'd never hope Spurs do anything but win, I'll be distraught at the end of the season if we do City and it gives Liverpool the title. Particularly how last Sunday worked out.

I feel slightly sick at the thought
I’m on a train to the Nw and their are some scousers talking football.... their actually being quite normal but I’m awaiting the salad is GHod conversation piece

We can get 3rd and lose to city...

As much as I’d love to veat city I’m still very much in the ABP camp

I hear you and my head says that if we got third anyway and it meant City would pip Liverpool, I'd hope City beat us. My heart says "you're a f**king idiot. It's Spurs first always. It's everyone else last. And it's Liverpool below everyone else. But always Spurs first. Always."

If I thought about football with my head, I probably wouldn't support Spurs so I hope we batter City and I'll deal with the consequences afterwards.

Looked at remaining fixtures

Outside of City, we have 4 home games against mostly winnable opponents
The Scum have 5 away games (including the one in hand)
Chelsea have Pool, United, Leicester and Watford
United have Chelsea & City plus 4 points to make up ..

I'd say if we win 3 of our home games we are likely ok
Odds are on either Scum or Chelsea for next spot, depends on who is less inconsistent

I really see us winning every home game
We have teams that are appalling away from home to play
