I think that we need a backup for Eriksen. We currently have no one else that can efficiently play the role of the primary attacking playmaker. Alli is more of a one-touch quick flicker and I don't think that Lamela is good in that role.

Breaking | Chelsea have agreed a €35m fee with Leicester City for the transfer of N'Golo Kanté, according to Le Parisien. More to follow.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's good to have a settled team carry over from one year to the next. This year we'll have a significantly less drop in quality from the first team, which is what we were missing last year. And players that can challenge for a first team spot. That's ideal, in my mind.well unless Dier and Dembele form really drops I cant see Wanyama replacing them and cant see Jansen starting over Kane unless his form drops, not trying to be negative, just think with the champs league and not being able to rest players as much on the wed and then needing them again on the sat will be lots of game time for the strongest 11 which I dont feel has changed from the first 11 that finished last season
Although a bit light that's actually a decent article........ For sky anyway.http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-tottenham-need-in-the-summer-transfer-window

From my experience, that journo is the most connected, reliable Spurs source around. It's interesting that he brought up Boufal from Lille. From what I've read about him, he could be an inspired signing.
