The Cricket Thread

England got a good first innings score tonight (218), but the Windies are belting us all over the place. 136-0 after 9.
 
Perth has been a good wicket for pace bowlers in the past and the Indian team had a lot of players new to it, but I'd expect the Aussies to do better.

That used to be true but they no longer play at the waca they play in a football stadium with a drop in pitch. As India showed today see off the new ball & you can score plenty of runs. I hope India bat them out of the game tomorrow.

I find it hard to want either of these teams to win, both full of absolute cretins and odious fans

Agreed but the way the Aussies have been talking about being the best test team in the world having the best bowling attack etc etc. you wonder why other teams bother showing up. That's why I want India to smash them 405 for 5 at tea on day 3 not mouthing off so much now.
