FFS! Why the fudge would they play 2 tests in Manchester? Why not the Oval or Lords or any other southern venue that would surely have the capability to do the social distancing etc.?

schedulers have fudged up big time, lessons to learn that no doubt won’t be!

I think it's due to wanting to have the secure 'bubble' for the teams, so they've picked venues with hotels attached - of which there are presumably not many.

Great effort by Broad, closing in on 500 wickets. Broad and Anderson are essentially going to be the number 1 & 2 seamers in the history of the game. Incredible for England.

I think Broad may want to carry on beyond that!

Been a good series, credit both teams for making it so with no crowd. Batting is starting to look more secure now we have a couple prepared to dig in, biggest open question for me is regarding the spinner and although Buttler got a 50 I think Foakes is a better option.

Agreed, we are severly lacking a quality spinner like we had with Swann

Those stats are quite eye-opening, it doesn't seem 5 minutes to me since Anderson went past Botham's 383, with Beefy there watching...
