It was Embarrassing!! Indians just don’t understand DRS, so to put one in charge of it was asking for trouble!

The test side needs a complete overhaul and rethink.

Take the cheat out (as Cricket Australia would have done if they had any integrity) and they were not the better side.
 
Need to start producing batsmen who have the quality to play Test cricket, to many " wam bam" batsman and they do not have the correct skills for the real game.

All to do with your favourite subject, money!
No one will pay enough to keep the county game going which is where these batsman ‘I believe‘ cut their teeth, so to speak
 
Too many forms of cricket nowadays and not enough time (in the UK) to play it. The T20 is where the money is so the County set up prioritizes that, can’t blame them really, it pays for the season. Just means that the proper stuff, the 4 day game, is played in April-start of June and Sep (with the odd random game thrown in between to confuse things further), which in Eng means poor conditions for batting.

There really is no easy answer, maybe they should somehow squeeze the T20 and 1 day game in to a 6 week period in mid June to end July say, finals included (no other form of cricket then).

1 things for sure is the last thing we need is another format, so sure enough “the hundred” comes along next season! o_O
 
Far too much cricket, the 100 is going to make it worse.

Next years schedule for England as this team for hire is already horrendous.
 
They have bowled a very classic middle and off stump line as with Broad, if anything moves its dangerous. Look at their bowling lines compared to ours. Its not been too much rocket science

Much better day than I expected. Curran gave us some variety and I can’t wait to see Archer in Australia.

Smith is ridiculous, honestly thought we had more chance of taking 5 other wickets before his. I wonder if being free of captaincy has made him even better, think Root would benefit if he just had to bat, especially given how much other cricket he plays.

I honestly would have put Leach in as night watchman, the lead is hopefully going to make the difference as I don’t see us batting through tomorrow.

This Ashes series will definitely be known as ’The Smith Ashes’ IMHO
Simply a unique sportsman, up there with the best in the modern era with names likes Mohamed Alli, Cruyff and Messi for me, he is that good, I have never seen such good hand-eye coordination!
 
Just got home after a big day at The Oval
We did really well today, at least the brick clam didnt get another 100

More like Maradona for me. A talented player whose legacy will be one of being a filthy fudging cheat rather than the legendary player they should have been.
