The Cricket Thread

Was always a warning, you would say to the batsman and umpire that you wanted him to keep ground or you might run him out, little tactical battle so they don't steal runs really.
 
Does anybody watch/follow the IPL?

I like my cricket and the domestic and T20 international competitions but IPL leaves me cold!
 
Just managed to get tickets for England v Australia Day 1 this summer!
Just got an email about hospitality returns, logged on and hey presto!
More for the other half than me but should be a good day out weather permitting. Puts me in the good books anyway.

This was impressive!

It was the third successive IPL golden duck for the 26-year-old, who batted at number five for Rajasthan Royals.

4 if the 5 have been first ball!
 
They’re getting used to chasing down these huge totals, psychologically they must be confident chasing anything below 350 and probably fancy their chances at anything under 400! Amazing balance to that batting line up.

We're going to that one. Can't wait.
Although on the downside I have to drive to the New Forest the next day (afternoon) for a Friday wedding, so need to keep a bit of a sensible head on.
