I had the same from one of my pals !!!We were out to dinner this evening and as we had finished eating I was keeping half an eye on the tennis on my phone. There was a group of people we know sitting at the table behind us and as Emma Raducanu won I spun round to tell them. Straight off I heard 'oh, the Romanian-Canadian-Chinese 'British' girl has won'. I just despair of people sometimes. I am thrilled for her. What an absolutely brilliant achievement regardless of where she hails from. It's great for us that she is British - except for those for whom she doesn't count.
