of course it has.
Jose doesn't suffer fools gladly, and any sign of a weak meteorology doesn't wash with him. (a pet hate) He'll give you a little window to show that you are on board and up for it BUT it doesn't take long for him to become exasperated with the situation and then it's downhill from there. Of course other managers do have a different approach, more nurture, more empathy etc. Not Jose, thats why i say, from what we can judge from the outside and observations of Ndombele in the game time he's had, he'll just fall foul of Jose's standards. FWIW i'm with Jose.
The problem Ndombele has is he has a similar timeline as La Celso (although Ndombele actually had a longer pre-season with us). Both started a bit, both got injured, both recovered but La Celso gives all he can in a game, every time he can. Thats why its telling when Jose often talks abot La Celso, Lamela etc giving the team something even when they weren't fully ready. That makes Ndombele's situation worse because, rightly or wrongly, he's perceived as being the opposite of that. Of course, within the club they will know if he IS that.
