I think that’s a bit harsh, it’s not like Ndombele has demonstrated cowardice in his approach to tackling or blocking the ball in the games he’s actually played.

From what I've seen of him I'd say Ndombele can get quite feisty. He not only takes people on, using his physical strength a la Kane to fend them off but also puts in the odd strong tackle on occasion.

Very harsh.
I was listening to Clive Allen this morning on The Spurs Show podcast. He got a strange groin injury, the club tried injections but it didn't help. The manager accused him of malingering. They sent him to a well known groin doctor who did his minor hernia on the left side, didn't help, so he did the minor hernia on the right side, didn't help, tried more injections, the manager is calling him out as a softie but he (and his physio wife) knew something was wrong.
Eventually they opened him up and found he had fully ruptured a tendon, the muscle had pulled off the bone and needed to be reattached. He missed a whole season of games. Still scored 49 goals. Was not a malingerer.

Jesus. For a fella who (rightly) made a fuss about Muslims a few months back, that's an astonishing post. Without wishing to give your post much credence with a sensible reply, Hugo has been an amazing signing for us.
On Ndombele, the boy has the talent to be the best midfielder in the league. He's frustrating but give him time.

By that I assume you mean he is lacking in strong character?
Do you think that of all players who get subbed off with an injury? I ask because it's not like he got a kick on the knees and just decided he didn't want to play that day, he's since been out for 3 games, it's a genuine injury. Or did you want him to play through it and possibly aggravate it further?
