Yup I left the 3rd man open. Likely to Hojberg but maybe Winks can be an option too.
Would love us to get Kante somehow, do a deal with an intermediary to take him for a season then sell to us, him with Hojberg as cover...
Here's to dreaming

I'm hoping that we see that on Sunday
I'm expecting to see settled XI after the int break
Another 90 and this one in a much higher intensity game. Having to defend deep in the first half and doing so well. Having to play a much more open game in the second half and doing that too well.He also has that "almost" Dembele ability to shield the ball or somehow come out of a crowd of players with posession.
Another 90 in the bag ..
I think it's just a question of time, fitness and a less ridiculous fixture list.I just want to see him and Lo Celso regularly in the same midfield. That's a potentially top 4 maybe even title challenging combo.

I agree and i know this might not go down so well with some, he looks like when he does settle there will be more output then we got from Dembele. He still runs like he is knackered at times but i am begining to believe that is just his style and way of running.
Dembele was probably my favourite ever Spurs player. He was just incredible to watch. That performance in Turin was out of this world. And while he contributed in a lot of ways, his goals and assists contribution was fairly poor for a man of his talent. You're right, Ndombele absolutely has the potential to contribute far more in these areas. His passing is more incisive and aggressive than Dembele too so he'll get more assists IMO.
I agree Dembele was special but i have always thought he promised so much but the end product as you say was really poor for someone who had the talent. Maybe that is a why he never really played ( or as far as i know was never wanted) by the real big teams.
I'm sure I read somewhere that when Dembele was a kid, he used to play games without goals. So the idea was just to dribble and keep the ball. Might explain why he scored so few. That said, he scored a couple of belters on his debut for Fulham IIRC and scored a great goal for us against Norwich (possibly) on his debut.
Benteke is still doing that.I'm sure I read somewhere that when Dembele was a kid, he used to play games without goals.
He has so much talent and compare his performance last night to his game against Burnley last season. Like a new signing.Jose has just been saying "Tanguy is playing amazing. I am very, very happy. You can feel the happiness. Physically he has to be better, he will be better. He can get better, he can be really phenomenal.”
Such a clear difference in the way Mourinho is talking about him. It's surely indicative of behind-the-scenes rapprochement
Ndombele has the potential to be quite a bit better than Dembele. Of course as you say Dembele had the potential to be better than he was so no guarantees.I agree Dembele was special but i have always thought he promised so much but the end product as you say was really poor for someone who had the talent. Thought today was his worst performance in the recent weeks from him. Lost the ball more and looked tired before being taken off despite the lowered intensity in the second half.
OK he's come good lads.
