I dont see how any signing would excite both. To excite the opposition you would have to think the player was sh#t, but then how would that please the home fans.
Vice versa how would RVP signing excite Spurs fans, or say Modric commiting to Spurs please an Arsenal fan :?:

A lot of them actually have their doubts, but every once in while he will run past someone and score. Won't be signing for less than ?ú100K a week. That would please me.

NLD at Emirates they were nearly booing him in the first half. By full time they were queueing up to s#ck him off
