So once the dotted line is signed by Lloris and Moutinho (hopefully) we just need to sign a striker and a winger...just like we needed to do back in January ](*,)

He actually said he would be surprised if it didn't happen (basing his view on info - which is unclear - that spurs were in negotiations with him). Did not state it as fact, just that he expected it to happen.

Be great if we get Lloris, and Moutinho. Still feel a striker is needed although the Defoe contract made that situation confusing. And if we get wing cover, then we can challenge for the title.

Sounds to me that the context may have been twisted to suit what Matt Spiro wants to interpret it as? Grenier could've been asked why Lloris would want to move to Spurs by a journo with obvious alterior motives sending a loaded question and his answer was 'He's one of best in the world. Maybe he sees #THFC as step to one of biggest clubs'
