okay if you say so. To be fair, Modric took some time to settle and it wasn't until a year or more after he signed that was worshiped. You could always see his quality though. If this deal comes off, we'll have demonstrated we're a force to be reckoned with. Whether this translates to success on the pitch is another matter - new players, manager need time to settle etc.

As someone else pointed out, us going for Berbatov is that we have no one planned up front.

I would forget about that if we secure Moutinho and LLoris.

I like him as a player but, he's never seemed to have done much really, he looks amazing but, nothing seems to come of it. Then again to play for Roma, Barca and Milan by the age of 22 you must have some thing about you, the terms of the roma deal was ridiculous iirc something along the lines of if they sell him barca get 13m euros :eek:
