Agree, good value too in the current market. Hope it is done. But I still think we need to find more goals from somewhere.

I think the one area Dembele can offer more to us than Modric is height and strength. While Modric isn't exactly the easiest to get off the ball, it was still pretty simple but seeing Dembele against Man U, he had such quick feet and was able to easily ride challenges. This will be excellent if it comes off!

Calm down FFS. All this has confirmed is that we're interested in signing him. He isn't our player and he hasn't agreed to come here.

All it will take is one phone call from Man Utd saying that they'd also like to meet his release clause and we instantly get to 0% chance of him becoming a Spurs player.

Was on skysports.com, and found this quote on the right side of the article saying we've had a bid accepted.

"Jol relaxed over Dembele
Martin Jol has no worries about losing Moussa Dembele this week as he insists it would take a lot of money for Fulham to part with the Belgian."

I agree that Dembele is stronger than Modric but Modric was never easy to get off the ball. Modric is a tenacious bugger and his tight turning circle means that he can move and release the ball as well as anyone I can remember seeing.

I can't see VDV leaving with Verts and possibly Dembele coming in.. Surely he'd want to be playing with his Dutch compatriots..
