FFS. Tommy at Stoke? This is awful. Pulis has now bought Woodgate, Palacios, Crouch and Tommy off us. Vulture.
He also paid good money for two of them.

Mate - considering the fees we got for Wilson and Crouch, and the fact Woody was on his last legs + massive wages - I'd say thank you, Tony

Because not everything a manager says to the media should be taken at face value and because there's so many rumours about us going for different strikers that there's probably something in it. There's not really anything in the quotes from AVB to support the headlines of 'Defoe not going anywhere'.

Hudd, to be followed by Rose on loan- Rose talking to a few clubs.
POTL
I do find it strange people on here getting in a state of panic over Dawson and Hudd leaving. One is our 5th choice centre back, the other a good squad option who is only being loaned out and after his injury it's probably best he is as he wouldn't be able to reach the levels desired with us this year. If he proves himself out on loan then great. Neither of these players really featured much for us last season and I think we did ok....
spot on, was about to say the same; how much of a chance is Hudd going to get to get back to full match fitness and prove himself to AVB with the likes of Parker Sandro Livermore and A N other ahead of his current status? (maybe should have been a loan until the next window)I do find it strange people on here getting in a state of panic over Dawson and Hudd leaving. Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is lining up a final bid to land £35million Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.
The Blues have been chasing Cavani for most of the summer but, as revealed by Sportsmail last month, appeared to be losing patience over wage demands of around £150,000 a week.
Sounds more like he's really keen to sell, as long as they get enough money. Constantly bringing attention to the whole thing.
