this guy is 22 is belgian and reminds me of kudus but with a good left peg
He plays the same position as Kudus, he's probably too similar for it to make sense for us. We need something for the right hand first I'd argue before we add competition for Kudus.

i think players like him and kudus can play across the front three

Every time I start to read one of these articles... I wade through the PL stuff and am only vaguely on board with things... then Ali starts to explain the CL stuff and my brain just melts onto the floor.

A couple of things I think I read, as my brain dribbled out of my right ear; Solanke has to come back into the CL squad for Tel as soon as he is fit, that is not a choice, so that is "now" so Tel is not available for the CL game. Please tell me if I'm wrong, most of my brain was on my right hip at the time.

Danso is *** for the PL squad but not the CL squad. Where *** means HG or CT or LT or whatever the hell it is... as I say, my brain was at knee level by that point.

But the KEY TAKEAWAY for me is that we can think of it like a squad with 50 HG and 50 CT and 50 LT and 50 foreign imports and then we get to select from those 200 players, just like Cheatski i.e. stop worrying about whether Timmy Tomkins will be able to fit into the CL squad, just assume that everyone can fit in the PL squad and a selected few will get into the CL squad. If Timmy Tomkins misses out, tough titties for Timmy Tomkins.

My personal opinion is teams need bigger squad allowances at this point, maybe with some advantage to those with more HG or association trained but the fact that Spurs (we don't have a huge squad by any means) is struggling, the injuries and depth of games being asked of clubs in European competitions, it simply needs a bigger allowance.

I suspect Solanke will come in for Davies and Dragusin will come in for Bentancur.

THe counter argument would be that is what the academy is for. It would give younger players gametime.

So the squads are already getting interesting.

The UEFA one we can only make 3 changes, but I don't think that includes anything to do with the Solanke / Tel switch.

I'm expecting us to switch either Richi or Johnson for Tel and get him back in. Gallagher for Bentancur is a no brainer. That leaves one space for the new winger or forward we could buy in the next couple of weeks.

---------------------------------Vicario(Kinsky)

Porro(Spence)-Romero(Dragusin)-van de Ven(Danso)-Udogie(Souza)

-------------------Bergvall(Gallagher)-----Gray(Bentancur)

------------------------------Simons(Sarr/Maddison)

----Kudus(Kulusevski)------------------------------------Tel(Odobert)

-----------------------------Richarlison(Solanke)

This is what we've got then, once we strip out the two loanees and the two soon-to-be out-of-contractees

Honestly, that isn't that bad a team, shouldn't be bottom half PL.

With that view, I'd say the obvious weakness (similar to other thread) is CF & LW and depending on style of play out back, GK

Hilarious that you think Bergvall is ahead of Gallagher.
