Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

Ive said all along VAR has killed the game. Cant celebrate a goal anymore.
The faceless fudges who brought it in dont give a flying fook what the fans want.
It's pretty amazing that "the best league in the world" still haven't got their head out ot their arse and implemented the automated offside calls!
It was supposed to be introduced at the beginning of this season, then delayed until after the first international break, then after the Christmas break, and still there is no sign of it! Supposedly it needs more testing!

Ffs, it's been working flawlessly in the CL for years!!! But if I know the PL right, that was probably not good enough for them, so they have probably spent millions on developing a new system, that doesn't work, instead of just implementing one that has worked perfectly for years!

Agree, its a waste of time and someone somewhere has made a shedload of money by bringing it in. How long has it been used now and its still brick.

It is coming in next weekend.

I actually have a lot of time for Aaron Ramsdale, partisan feelings aside. Has been very vocal vs Homophobic abuse, his brother being gay. A brave stance in modern day football and deserves to be applauded IMHO.

It wonderful that he can do that and I admire him for that but he like many Woolwich players fell for the childish action of adopting the "I hate Spurs" cult. It's totally unprofessional, I'm all for a bit of banter with local rivals but there are far to many immature people about who take it too far and players should be careful with how they may influence them.

Guess we’ll see how the PL have been tweaking SAOT this weekend… hopefully there will be no more of these 4 minute delays at the very least!

It's interesting that the SEMI-automated technology suggests a kick point. With the contraction / expansion of the ball it has always been a bone of contention how to establish that kick point.

It could now be argued that because the SA VAR automatically creates the lines after the kick-point is established, it will be very easy for the VAR team to select different kick-points that give the 2 different answers. So it should be quite straightforward to run onside into offside and vice versa at a touch of a button, without adding more time.

I'd like to know how the kick point accuracy is being measured.
