That goal wasn't his fault, the deflection sent the ball more centrally (iirc) so he couldn't adjust to put it round the post.
There was two balls in the 6 yard box at that time, so it should have been disallowed anyway

There was only 1 ball. The other was an inflatable. There was two balls in the 6 yard box at that time, so it should have been disallowed anyway
The Darren Bent beach all counted right? This was way more minor. There was two balls in the 6 yard box at that time, so it should have been disallowed anyway

An inflated ball
It doesn't matter - it caused confusion/hesitation, which is what the rule is there to protect against.
"If an extra ball, other object, or animal enters the field, play must stop"What's the actual rule?

Was Vicario 100% sure which one was the one coming back after his parry? That was a level of interferenceBut goes on to say
an extra ball, other object or animal enters the field of play during the match, the referee must:
stop play (and restart with a dropped ball) only if it interferes with play unless the ball is going into the goal and the interference does not prevent a defending player playing the ball, the goal is awarded if the ball enters the goal (even if contact was made with the ball) unless unless the interference was by the attacking team
allow play to continue if it does not interfere with play and have it removed at the earliest possible opportunity
It does not interfere
Just saw MOTD. Some unreal passing from Simons. Thought it looked like we counter attacked really well. Vic initially a bit shaky, but made a lot of great saves as well. So happy for Tel! Odobert looked to have done a few good bits as well. Nice!
What are your go-to drugs before watching a game of football? Was Vicario 100% sure which one was the one coming back after his parry? That was a level of interference
There's always Big Ange.Vic getting flak from some , now Levy has gone fans just don't know who to moan about.![]()
Shame about the time wasting though. Was the same at Brentford. First two throwins 2nd half took 40 secs each. Kudus free kick took over 3 mins. Porro corner took over 1 minute. Goal celebration was well over 1 minute. Only 6 mins injury time so he added nothing on for time wasting and added 10 seconds for all the subs.
