Spurs pre-season Perth, Australia

I’m not going to make judgement on the pre-season organisation but I’m not sure you should be taking the risk of playing in areas where it could be called off due to weather.

Theses games are important.

Lets just hope it doesn't fudge up the preparations for the season. We don't want to be undercooked at the start of the season.
We have three more friendlies before the season starts. There's also a gap after the game on Wednesday until the next friendly game on Aug 6th. If needed an extra game or two behind closed doors can be arranged.
As @Grays_1890 said the sports science team will know exactly what is needed fitness-wise.

Couldn't really see how the pitch was, but in general, I think the threshold to cancel games because of pitch conditions is WAY too low these days.

I agree TBH, especially having played non league and it being terrible there, the problem is that there will always be the variation with weather meaning the PT weathermen will argue it could have or couldn't been played.

And on the flip side, if they had played and some of the players got injured, you would all be on here complaining that they shouldn’t have played on the pitch in them conditions.
You think so? If the conditions were as bad as depicted I think most would expect the game to be rightfully cancelled. I mean the flipping ball didn't even bounce. [emoji28]

Yep I am. I know a whole bunch of people who travelled just for this match and are gutted. Also disappointed for the Spurs Thailand crew. But the match is always just a small part of these weekends. It’s still been great.

Now to dry off for the next week.

Not followed kits properly for a while, what season is that from?

Rain killed the weekend sports viewing! Cricket plus this game was hard to take! Everyone was looking forward to seeing the progress under Ange.

F1 sucks atm, so dull by comparison. Provided some background wallpaper no more.

Roll on the next games. Will be an intensive run into the Brentford game now.

Players would have needed a submarine each, but we didn't bring them on tour this time.
Immediately, my mind went to the Thai youth soccer players that got lost in the cave, with Elon Musk offering to "rescue" them with some specially-built submarine.

This side Lion City Sailors are bang in the business end of their season. They have played 5 games in July already. Should be a good test, for fitness if not for quality at least.

They are third in the local league right now and their next match is in 3 days so I won't expect too much.

Also... Remember this guy who Levy was entertaining
