The same Joe Jordan we had with Redknapp? So we didn't have any subs left? Was there only one sub allowed back then or is that even further back? As someone who started consciously following Spurs in the mid 90's its fascinating to hear stories from the times before that.

Yes, the same man. Jordan was a brute of a CF for United. Toothless uncompromising warrior.

Hence Gattuso probably not knowing whom he was dealing with on that legendary night in the san siro

I do remember watching it live on tv at the time. Remember being surprised at how well Leicester played considering they were effectively a man down for most of the game. We got lucky that Chalmers was crippled so early on. Was not convinced at the time we would have won it otherwise.

he would get stuck in if needed. His defence skills weren't great & used as a reason for Glenn not being picked for England. He can't defend or tackle. my answer was why does the most gifted player in England need to be a defender. If he was from any other country he would have been first on the team sheet
