I wouldn't say the jury's out on Wimmer. I'm sure we would have still bought him with hindsight. You're probably right about the ratio of flops to bargains over a longer period but there's no question that trend has been dramatically reversed since Poch's arrival.
So let's have a look
Hits
Alderweireld
Son
Wanyama
Davies
Vorm
Dier
Alli
Trippier
Jury out/too soon to judge
Janssen
Wimmer
N'koudou
Sissoko
Misses
N'Jie
Yedlin
Fazio
Stambouli
Fazio and Stambouli had decent spells so no way could you call them out-and-out flops. N'jie had his moments too and though very unlikely could still return and be successful. Yedlin was probably a very cheap buy (fee undisclosed) who managed just the one appearance.
So not one out-and-out flop since Poch's arrival but several fantastic bargains.
Originally put him down as a hit but he seems well out of favour this season.I wouldn't say the jury's out on Wimmer. I'm sure we would have still bought him with hindsight.

True Fazio eventually fell out of favour but on balance I'd still put him down as a hit because of an excellent spell when he and Verts formed part of a very solid pairing at a time when others had been shipping goals galore. And here's another reason he was a hit!Firstly, Fazio and Stambouli were out and out flops - I just lay the blame for them less at Poch's door than at Levy's.
I agree, more recently the ratio has been promising - provided you view Janssen, Sissoko and GKN as still in their initial settling-in period, which I do.
To make this thread a little political; what if Donald Trump decides to bomb North Korea - which isn't very unlikely - how will that affect South Korea? I'm guessing they're likely to be drawn into the conflict whether they want it or not, and then what about Son's military service? Will he be called in if his country is at war?

Better commentary than either Sky or BT.

Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain
Sunny, you smiled at me and really eased the pain
The dark days are gone, and the bright days are here,
My Sunny one shines so sincere
Sunny one so true, I love you
Sunny, thank you for the sunshine bouquet
Sunny, thank you for the love you brought my way
You gave to me your all and all
Now I feel ten feet tall
Sunny one so true, I love you
Sunny
Sunny, thank you for the smile upon your face
Sunny, thank you for the gleam that shows its grace
You're my spark of nature's fire,
You're my sweet complete desire
Sunny one so true, I love you

Minutes-per-goal (mpg) of Premier League's leading scorersSo this season he has scored 19 goals in 40 appearances, when you consider that includes several substitute appearances I gotta say that is mighty impressive
