Bit of a bricker losing players in the middle of the season but I suppose we must have known it was coming.
 
The assists and his general game were good today. What I liked was him chewing Richy and Kulu out of it.

He had a pop at Richy for not making a run to the front post early on and staying in the same space he was occupying. Had another pop at both for not playing the ball in front of him.

Good to see. Demanding the right things from his team mates.

I had 2 Korean lads next to me
They were loving every minute of it
They were trying to speak English to me because they are so polite
For the penalty I made a point of stepping back so they could film it clearer and then we’re apologising to me
People who complain about other fans who spend a future to attend one game… one game that the local fans decide not to attend and sell on their ticket for… are fudging bell ends

Often have Korean fans around us I've found them lovely people, very polite and really excited to be here, they seem to enjoy the games much more than some off the miserable gits near me.
 
When the wife and I were at the Fulham game in the south stand we had a very nice Bob hoskins look a like on the wife's side keeping her entertained and on my side two young lads who didn't interact with me at all during the game.
At the end as they left they the lads hoped we'd enjoyed the game and wished us a safe journey home.
I was actually quite touched by that, was a great end to a brilliant day and I felt everyone went out their way to make us feel welcome.
Attending football has changed a lot since I was a regular.

They'll be up there. Should walk through their group. Hopefully Japan struggle as they often do and finish 2nd in their group, which would mean Korea v Japan in the 2nd round (31st of January).
