Son Heung-Min

Initially his injury looks a bad thing for us, but his performances as well as his goal scoring have been poor this season. We will need to change our formation and this could help our ball retention and allow Gil (Bryan) more game time with Kane. If he has to be out for a long period this is probably the best time for it to happen.

Lets wait and see. I doubt you can fracture your face and then find the pain subsides.

Hopefully he just has a bruised face.

If he had a facial injury, could he be available for the Liverpool match? As this doesn’t necessarily mean full on head injury which would immediately mean time out.

The health and safety of Son is of most importance. Can’t gamble on his health and safety. But if he’s fit, medically and in himself, and he wants to play then hopefully he can be there for the weekend.

Hopefully quick recovery for him from any injuries.

As crap as Son has been, he's our only really pacy forward when we play on the break. Without him, Kulusevski or Richarlison vs Liverpool will really expose us i feel.

We have to hope his injury wasn't too bad to at least be an option off the bench vs Liverpool (and then hope he can keep the ball in even a minimal sense when passed to him).

Might mean Perisic attacking wide if Son is out. We will have attacking options and have to use the ball well when we have it. We cant give it away cheaply or we may find ourselves boxed in in our own half.

Nasty.
It didn't look like a hugely forceful smash so it's instructive to see how such consequences can arise from an apparently innocuous coming together

So its either 352 with Lucas and Kane up top or 343 with Lucas, Gil and Kane as a front 3.

I actually like both potential teams we could put out tbh and fancy us to get at least a draw.
Any team with Lucas won’t keep the ball
But what’s the alternative
We’re literally down to the bones
The team vs Forrest will have a younger age than the arsenal side and they barely have pubes
