Jeez....catch up at the back.I love Son. There, I've said it.
Seldom plays the fully ninety minutes either. Works out at 7 goals in the equivalent of 9.2 matches or one goal every 119 minutes. Not too shabby at all.7 goals in 14 league matches, well that is not to shabby
poch pulled son off after 2 goals again.... was rooting for son to get a well deserved hatrick

10/1 on, he picks up an injury while he's away.
To paraphrase one of Harry’s fave go to gags...Well that was one way to reward his recent form
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a fitness thing, just Son being Son. He’s always been streaky, he has hot months then he goes a while without doing much. Who knows perhaps he will become more consistent in the next year or two and then we would have yet another genuine world class player on our hands....It was all just a fitness thing wasn't it at the start of the season. I defended him to the hilt on here as had just returned from 2 tournaments and had further international breaks.
No surprise to see him now build up some rhythm and sparkling form.
Also worth remembering that with the style he adopts - direct, attempting things etc, he is going to have the odd off day - its part and parcel. Lets just be thankful that he plays for us and that we get many more 'on' days than 'off'.
With the above said, the big smile and the fact he's my son's favourite player, I just cant help but love the guy.

Poor chap, damaged his cruciate ligaments now out for 9 months. Francis not Son.
That’s their second first team regular to do a cruciate this month as Lewis Cook did his against Huddersfield. Wish them both a full recovery.Poor chap, damaged his cruciate ligaments now out for 9 months. Francis not Son.
