So, what happened today?

That sounds absolutely amazing
It really was
Cost a lot but anything is better with live music
And the top gun theme is so iconic
But they started announcing that such and such is here … bruckhiemer, Chris Macquarie, Harold faltemeter and the conductor is Lorna Balfe… so we’re thinking wow
Then Cruise comes on stage and gets a minute standing ovation score the film even starts
Does a great speech about how important music is in film and this is the premier of doing it like this
And then the show
Throughly recommend it

Love it. I play in local bands and wish I could share with some of my mates the experience we get as amateur musicians entertaining our modest audiences. It's a buzz being on the inside.

Spent some of today learning Are Friends Electric on the keys. Can't wait to do it at the local open mic in a couple of weeks.

Music is definitely a drug.

Music should always be a pillar in everyone's life.

It's unconditional, mood changing, emotive, so so varied. Gives so much and asks nothing of you.

Read today that UEFA have fined Lazio (€45k) and Ath Madrid (€30k) for racist incidents at home games, this is a clear indication that they really don't see this as a serious problem. Some authorities need to take a clear stand on this and either take points from teams or expel them from competitions.

Premier league have charged Forest £750k for saying the ref was crap

Just been to see the London Film Orchestra do a concert in a local ish catherdal
It’s only when you hear these lives individually you can really appreciate the scale and scope of the songs
It was John Williams and Hans Zimmer classics
Really really enjoyed the Interstellar stuff which stands alone brilliantly

I've been to something similar. Superb. There is nothing like sitting in front of a full orchestra.

Not too much interstellar stuff at my gig, but I assume the Catherdal organ is why you heard more of that.
