Agree. If one player is to move it'll be Mahrez and I can see him wanting to. Vardy I peg as a more loyal lad.
Don't think anyone will offer big money though, to risky, has flash in the pan written all over it.
Despite all the expectations of an implosion, the omens appear quite favourable for Leicester...

Precisely. The stat is so bogus when you're talking about big clubs, nowt to do with little old LeicesterNot one of those would have been massive gatecrashers like Leicester. We are in uncharted PL waters here.

I would like to know how many points ahead the team was
I would like to know how far ahead each team was in the above stats.. i.e. the 14 times they ended up champions were they already 10 points ahead, was the team that ended 4th only top on goal difference and level on points with 3 other teams?
I am simplifying things, but if there's teams within touching distance, ready to pounce on any mistake it does make things harder.
Somebody used to make points tables like this on here regularly, can't hurt to put one in this thread;
35. Leicester
34.
33. Arsenal
32. Emirates Marketing Project
31.
30.
29.Man United
28.
27.
26. Tottenham, Crystal Palace
25. Watford
24. West Ham, Liverpool
23. Everton, Stoke
The last comparably outlandish table toppers were Norwich City, back in the inaugural season of the PL.Not one of those would have been massive gatecrashers like Leicester. We are in uncharted PL waters here.
Yep. They even beat the crap out of Bayern Munich!I don't think Norwich were as outlandish as Leicester, they would regularly start the season well around that time, they had a reputation as after xmas chokers in much the same way the goons have had in recent years. They were a pretty decent side back then.

They were 4 points clear (also of the Goons) after 16 games and remained top of the table right up until the start of April, when they lost at home to ManU and ended up finishing 3rd.
Another parallel with the 92/93 season is that the reigning champions (Leeds) also spent most of the campaign languishing in the bottom half of the table.
