Serious relegation fears

If Mahrez and Vardy can keep this up for the season, or Leicester keep hold of them in the Jan transfer window, then I think they will finish top 5 and it will be great for football. However, I have a feeling that they will lose one or both players, and the wage budget:league position memo will come into effect unfortunately.
Leicester will not lose either player in the January window, the players have no reason to leave and the club have no reason to sell them. Even a huge offer would not tempt them as their owners are very, very rich.

Merely qualifying for the CL is reportedly worth £50m, then there's the enormous kudos from qualifying. Leicester will surely fight like pitbulls to keep them both.

Hull were in a similar position in December 2008, and went on to finish the season 1 point above relegation. Leicester's season is still about crossing the 40/42 point line.

You don't believe that really do you?

They will have a wobble but I can't see them even dropping into the bottom half of the table.

Do you think the quality of Hull in 2008 and Leicester in 2015 are comparable? What is your points spread for Leicester this season?

With such a thin squad, a few injuries will cripple them, then when they lose their momentum...

I think they will get top 10. But the established top 6 won’t change, and I suspect they'll finish beneath Soton, Everton and maybe one other.

Next game for Leicester is a biggy

Everton away who for me are flat track bullies and there without drinkwater and huth

There not there by luck though, they have deserved to be top and they play exciting stuff

True words spoken there. Everyone keeps expecting Leicester to fall from grace, but why should they? History shows that when a team has a start to the season as strong as Leicester have had, it's almost inevitable that they finish in the top 4. I hope that they do. I don't think that we will, so at least will have Leicester to cheer for.

I hear you, but I just don't think the likes of the "established" top 4 wanting this and the best way they can destabilise. Having rich owners helps, but it will all depend on the players and their agents. A huge offer from a CL club will be a lot for them to turn down.

But I will come back to I hope they don't.

You're quite right and as WBA have shown, it is possible to keep a player. However, there are not many other examples. I would imagine that both players' agents will be working on the undoubted interest that there will be and the bigger clubs will be circling. I guess we will see in January!
