This sums it up. His defensive concentration is fundamental. Historically he’s lapsed in defensive focus/awareness/concentration.
Going forward he’s got zip, if he can add defensive concentration he’s the boy. His athleticism is good. His commitment is good, just having that defensive vision as it were to see what’s brewing and where to position himself - that is what has been missing. Add that and he’s potentially a top full back. Fail to add it, and he’s a liability.

Was a dive for the second yellow.
Ball looked out of play as well.
Good thing Aurier managed to teach them a lesson by getting himself needlessly sent off. They won't try that again. He made his mark too early in the game but the rest of the players were wimps, allowing scbc to get way with cheating and diving too easily

He should not even had been in that position.
I think I would do Sissoko at right back and Dier in midfield at the moment.
Ball was well out of play. I was pretty much in line with it and a lot of people were saying the lino had looked away!.Was a dive for the second yellow.

Thought he was a wall defensively. But hopeless when he broke forward and got into a crossing position.Sissoko was pretty poor at RB -
He really wasnt!Sissoko was pretty poor at RB -
Not a game to judge him offensively I don’t think, down to 10 men we didn’t have many options/movement ahead of him. Looked pretty knackered towards the end of the game as well.Thought he was a wall defensively. But hopeless when he broke forward and got into a crossing position.
Sissoko was pretty poor at RB -
Nonsense. We were a man down, of course he didn't get forward. He shouldn't've and didn't've.Sissoko was pretty poor at RB -
Did he get sent off for two macaronic fouls in succession? Did he try to dribble an opponent two feet from an empty goal? Was a goal conceded because of his mistake?
No? I will live with that....
How long will this brainturd be banned for? A while I hope.
Foyth is back fit, just in time to get roasted by Bayern
Should change nothing about where he is in the pecking order as it was entirely unsurprising and par for the course for Aurier.Shocking display today. First one he dived in needlessly on the touchline. Second one daydreaming and got caught out. Should be well down the pecking order after that.
