I love that Mason has this as his Twitter banner. Master and protege
Cliff Jones just seems like a wonderful man, you'd love to have him as your grandad

Gave up football through injury and got his coaching badges at the age of 20. Recently been following Scott Parker around as a coach.
good luck to him.
I remember Mason flinging his arms around in perplexed frustration when Conte made some mad substitute e.g. bringing on Sanchez when we needed a goal, I forget the specific sub.
And likewise he was shouting at Stellini (under his hand) as the goals flew in for Newcash, so he wanted to change things on both occasions.
Will be interesting to see what he does, but I do not expect some sudden brilliant performance. Hopefully just a solid 0-0 foundation, lots of heart, perhaps a flash of brilliance from Danjuma.
Notes:
a) Son cannot play with his back to goal, he can only break forwards with the ball in front of him.
b) Kulu has needed dropping for months.
According to this website, Mason has the highest win percentage in league games than any other Spurs manager ever: https://www.myfootballfacts.com/eng...ottenham-hotspur-managers-records-statistics/
No pressure. [emoji16]

Endorsement from the GOAT. Ive got a feeling he's going to nail the run in and get the permanent job

Is the 'job' in teh first part of the quote not the '(interim) situation' job which follows straight after? Or is there more of the quote which suggests that by 'job' he means the top job permanently?
It’s a good question and I was wondering if Charlie had maybe misunderstood, but seems to backed up by Dan Kilpatrick:
When Lamela finishes his playing career, we should hire him as a dedicated brickhousery coach. After he'd coached them for a while, We'd have the upper hand before a ball was kicked, as everyone would absolutely hate playing against us.
