Still trying to pinch myself that we have actually signed someone of this quality for the best part of £30m!!!! Hahaha its unreal. A massive statement of intent.

Makes me very confident of the future and the season ahead whatever happens to Bale as I believe we will get the players we need around Bale and if he stays we will have an awesome world-class player and if he goes I believe we will get some top quality in to replace him. Maybe starting with Morata if the press are to be believed.

But in the meantime this is all about El Matador Soldado. I was watching a load of youtube clips of him last night. The guy is going to be class for us. So many GREAT goals in amongst your standard tap-in and header fair. Which is important for me as it shows he can score out of nothing like Bale did for us last season.

One in particular got me was a skill video that showed him flick the ball round the back of the defender and run around the other side burning away for him with surprising pace (never seemed to be listed as an attribute of his). SImilar to Bergkamp against Saudi Sportswashing Machine 5 or so seasons back. Plus some of hte volleys he scores are just unreal! So looking forward to watching him wear our shirt!

like i said, the way our pre season is going id wrap them all in cotton wool until our first game and send them all on holiday.....didnt Dawson get injured at our state of the art world class training facilty:)
