If he could match that there’s a chance he keeps us up.

Nah, there will definitely be a break clause. He would definitely be off.I think it's a big risk if the intention is for him to be the man to lead us in the Championship should we go down.
And also a big chance we could still be relegated
Not me sunshine!
I don't need any excuses at all, he's provided several in his career. He's a wan ker, and now he looks set to be our wan ker. Because I support the club I'll have to accept that it is the case.
There's plenty chaos here already, so if he can add a little good coaching, surely that's a win.I hope you're right.
I am not sure. I have heard from people who worked with him at Brighton that as good a coach as he is, there is a heavy price to be paid in terms of his attitude and the chaos he brings/creates.

He managed to defeat his own team? He belongs at Spurs2 wins - Leeds, Everton
2 draws - Sunderland, Wolves
3 defeats - Brighton, Villa, Chelsea
Eh?He managed to defeat his own team? He belongs at Spurs.....
I agree with the first bit, mainly because I've never bought into the theory that the crippling lack of transfers was purely down to Scrooge McLevy. Poch has to take some of the blame for failing to replace his ageing stars. We actually just need to appoint him again. Watch him fail and then people can get over him. It's ridiculous at this point but it makes sense. I've said before on here that so many of our fans are believers in the "Messiah Coach" and that's what Poch represents. He did so well the first time around that given our circumstances rather than trying to actually address the rot and reinforce the foundations, they want the massive plaster of a coach who can far exceed the ingredients that we will give them. They've seen Poch do it, and so now there's an obsession with getting him back. The sad thing is if we ever do go again with him it will not be the same as the first time around, we don't have the players this time around.
I think relegation might be a good thing for us. It would cause the massive cultural reset that this club and fan base so evidently needs. I don't want to go down, but more and more I think it might be for the best.
Ah you're predicting our results, got itEh?
It could be our results if he matches his Brighton record.
It’s quite natural to assume that a prospective manager of Spurs would be capable of beating his own team so no fault there. It’s what we do.Ah you're predicting our results, got it. I thought this was referring to the period being discussed at Brighton....
All our fixtures are tough. His start at Brighton is irrelevant for me. He had some tough fixtures at the beginning.
Simple question, would you be happy if Mason Greenwood signed for Spurs next season?
The fact that charges were dropped did not mean he did not committ the offence. Did you actually listen to the audio recording of him raping (or should I say indecently assaulting) the now mother of his child?
When the main witness refuses to give evidence it does not mean the act was not committed
To add, the CPS found that there wasn't sufficient evidence. You have just swung from "raping" to "indecently assaulting" in your opinion.
Doesn't that prove how unsure you are, let alone the words of the CPs and Police in this case who have completely investigated these allegations?
A person has to be found guilty by a jury, not some keyboard warrior.
Interesting and unexpected quote from Sandro:
[Asked back in 2023, who the best coach he played under]"It was De Zerbi, 100 per cent. I worked with him and fell in love with him in the first week … He's got passion. He's there every day, like a teacher. He practised a lot, the repetition. He's a manager who wants to have the ball all the time. A very intelligent and very particular manager who thinks a lot about the game. He helps players and gives them the details they need to hurt the opponent.
Benevento were in a very bad situation, but De Zerbi picked some players to try to improve the team and I was part of that, I didn't know that I was going to meet one of the best coaches that I've had. It was amazing because I learned a lot from him, and I really enjoyed playing for him. I saw great things. When I arrived there, I was already an experienced player and I'd seen so many coaches. He made me come to games with fire, like 'what's he going to teach us today? What are we going to do?' You must be good to do that. I wanted more. I wanted to play for him."
