Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I was just typing the same thing about the “if” and the fact that it ought to have been scripted by our PR team that he did not say that.

“I am sorry for the distress and offence my comments caused”. Job done. (Kind of).

I hope our PR team are more on the ball for his first press conference as it’s going to come up again.
Hopefully, if muckrakers do bring it up in the PC he'll either just blankly stare them down before moving to the next question or simply refer to what's just been said.

Arteta hasn't taken any flack for playing a known rapist for 3 years but because it's Spurs it's open season on RDZ it seems

Maybe we should have made that rooster who is head of the Green's in as manager instead, would have made loads happy on here no doubt

That's because Arsenal fans have mostly gone along with pretending nothing was happening/didn't want to criticise their club.

Whereas a lot of our fans seemingly aren't so willing to brush these sorts of incidents under the carpet because it happens to be our club it reflects badly on - this is a positive.

Without wanting to be too fair-minded where the Woolwich supporters are concerned, they were effectively blocked from talking about Partey on all UK platforms, because it was sub judice.

I don’t like his hair and stupid goatee… there I said it. He looks like he walks around the house in Y fronts and a large gold medallion … definitely has a marble bath with mirrors everywhere in the bathroom. Possibly even chintzy gold taps.

And to make it worse he has a daughter. GHod he hates females as much as I hate toffee. Sack him. Get your pitch forks out lads.

He didn’t, in fact, say sorry.

He said “I’m sorry if this offended anyone’s feelings”. That’s very different.

And, like Glenda, I’m mainly appalled at how unprofessional this is from a PR perspective. Any organisation of the club’s size should be able to get these basics right.
Don't think its unprofessional at all. No matter what was said, people would interpret and kick off. Its the age of division, drama and keyboard warriors. There are a great many people that actually don't think he has done anything worth apologising for at all. But as always some like the THST have chosen to speak for all, and others think their own thoughts and words are the only right ones.

as some are keeping score, this is Bellamy who was also done for assaulting women and who handles squad disagreements by hitting teammates in the face with a golf club
Yep
Also lost all his money too And was bankrupt
There are many negatives about many people but they don’t always come public
Im not defending anyone or keeping score for that matter TBH

The explanation he has given is fair enough to me, I think the full quote is fine and just referring to a couple of words in it doesn’t tell the whole story.

Time to draw a line under it I feel.
Don't worry.....give it 18 months and they'll be a myriad of things to hate specifically about HIM! :)

Anyway, he also made it clear he will be here regardless next season FWIW...
I heard that.

Loose all seven games 5-0 and see if it's true!!

But on a serious note, it was very telling. He could be utter brick for the next seven games and loose every game.

Personally I think we'll stay up now. I think he'll get passion and energy into the team and demand and allow them to play with courage (his word) - that'll get enough points to stay up.
