Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Good question.

Winners (if they stay):
Romero, Danso, Gray. Odobert, Tel, Bergvall, Kulu, Kinsky, Xavi

Losers:
Udogie, Sarr, Richie, Vicario
I think Sarr might be ok. He will be good for disrupting the opposition with his press hoping for a quicker recovery of the ball.

Who do we think are the big winners and losers in our squad under RDZ then?

What formation is he going with?

Vicario will be gone. Could even see Kinsky staying in the team if he does well against Sunderland & Brighton. Could see a world where we bring in an old keeper with the view of Kinsky being cup keeper and #1 in 27/28 season.

Think a lot depends on Romero & VDV futures. If the are staying I see a world where any manager is going to want them both and Vuskovic playing most of the games. Vuskovicn has been playing LCB in a 3 for Croatia for what it’s worth so can even make that work with Danso. If you got those 4 plus Byfield as a young player that could work.

Spence on the ball is exactly what he wants but he makes so many defensive mistakes I can see DeZerbi falling out with him. Think he will like Udogie and Souza but might feel the club need a more experienced LB.

I’d imagine he will like Bentancur, Gray, Bergvall but only have one spot for a Sarr/Gallagher type player.

I think he would like Devine a lot. Maybe one of Olusesi or Abbot as well.

Xavi I can see it not working. He holds the ball too long. Hope so am wrong. Maddison & Kulusevski all depends on fitness.

Kudus, Odobert, Moore he will like. Think he will view Tel as a #9. Solanke he will like. Lankshear too. Richy I think will be leaving.

I certainly wouldn't want to belittle the subject matter, it's an important issue. I don't agree he justified Greenwood's actions by what he said, saying he 'paid a heavy price' is as fact - he did. At no point did he suggest what Greenwood did was ok, but spoke of his personal experience of the guy which is fair enough when he was undoubtedly constantly asked about the player. It's a difficult position for a manager to be in - What would you expect halo wearing Poch to say? That Greenwood is a disgusting human being? I think he like most managers would have said something similar, Getafe's manager wasn't any different.

Personally I haven't seen anything said from him regarding Greenwood to not want him at my club for non footballing reasons but that's just me - With sensitive issues there are bound to be plenty for and against these things. If we were talking about signing Greenwood that would be a different matter - like most I've heard the audio and it's horrific listening. I sincerely hope he is rehabilitating himself, but wouldn't want him doing it anywhere near our club.....
Love it...Halo wearing Poch not even related to this conversation of RZB and Greenwood, yet he still got dragged into this. The levels people go to "make" a point.

The question is simple, did people realistically expect RZB to criticise Greenwood? Charges dropped, still with the woman, and they now have two kids. If he said anything, it would put the couple back in the spotlight and they have kids who are going to see all of this one day. For me, with this ridiculous turnout of events, you have to be careful what you say, especially as there was no conviction. Innocent until proven guilty.

I never went to see Greenwood play for us, but I agree RZB couldn't say anything else.

I say this from a position where I didn't want RZB at spurs as he is too volatile.... But I do like his football.

Do you also see the lottery numbers … I’m all in baby

Not good enough technically for me, and more importantly RDZ.

It really puzzles me why so many posters rate him solely on his pressing ability. Aren't we wanting more than this from a midfielder? I just don't think his ceiling is much higher than the level he has performed at while he has been here.

Happy to be proved wrong though.

Other than Vicario who I get why you are saying that, why would the others be losers?
Just my opinions of course...

Udogie - not sure he has the personality for an RDZ team. Absolutely good enough technically though. You could put Spence in here too.

Richie - the opposite of Udogie.

Vic - fairly obvious.

Sarr - as mentioned in another reply, not good enough technically IMO

The club as a whole isn't equipped for running it that way. Every single one, from top to bottom have to be aligned. And first and foremost, a plan and a vision has to be in place. And it isn't. Far from it!
In a prefect world yes. But we aren't in that position, nor anywhere near it.

Third time's the charm...please name one available manager who you feel confident would implement a progressive system and develop young players while already having PL experience and is available with a track record of sustained top-level success?

You can’t just stick with any old manager, it has to be the right one, or at the very least not a brick one! It’s just as much about admitting you’ve made a fudge up and having the balls to rectify it sometimes.

Would you have stuck with Frank for 3 years? We’d have been in league one... Or Tudor?
Yes but us doing this for 20yrs hasn't exactly given us stability. At some point one of the managers will hit a bad patch

Played out the rest of the season as DeZerbi on FIFA career mode which lets you do a live start point.

Sunderland A 0-1 W (Richarlison)
Brighton H 2-2 D (Romero, Solanke)
Wolves A 0-2 W (Richarlison, Kudus)
Villa A 1-1 (van de Ven)
Leeds H 2-1 W (Solanke, Kudus)
Chelsea A 1-2 W (Bergvall, Kudus)
Everton H 0-2 L

Sunderland was an 87th minute winner, Brighton was 2-0 down and came back to draw. Chelsea we were 1-0 down and secured survival with the win. Leeds went down losing to West Ham final game. Goons won the league.

Left out of the Senegal team with a shoulder injury, so he may not be an immediate option for RDZ anyhow.

Sky headlining “ Kaveh Solkehol impressed RDZ of up for the relegation fight”.

Who the fudge is he and how is that news or a headline. It’s an opinion of a presenter. Talksport do exactly the same with Alex Crook … serve up an opinion and try to give it importance and a headline.

Guy on this Pod was Cheif Exec at Liverpool, Villa & West Ham. He says 5 year deal is as much to protect Spurs if another club wants to take RDZ from us and that there will be clauses if we under perform where we can get out without paying the full contract off.

and an absolute bell-end of a presenter too

Because most clubs are reactionary rather than proactive. Having a clear identity, plan and a structure that is dedicated to following that plan and identity, will almost always yield results. That also means that you can change the manager without destroying everything.

Which clubs clubs in the PL have been most successful in the last 10 years, and what do they have in common?
Emirates Marketing Project and Chelsea and their common point is, they're cheaters. What did I win?
