Richarlison

Genuine question; do you sack off Brentford for Liverpool?

I would have sacked off Hoffenheim to get the win against Leicester. I think that would have been the play. Leicester would have been a win had we been fresh. No guarantee but I think our fatigue cost us on Sunday.

richarlison was sad to watch at brentford. kept falling down and/or losing the bally everytime up front.
and that fake sprint to press the keeper.... surely we need better

One fake sprint......how did you manage to cope with Kane for his last 2-3 seasons? He did a fake sprint every 10 mins.

I do agree that Richi wasn't at the races though. That touch of his was awful at times.

He's still probably our most likely goalscorer anytime he's on the pitch. I would move him on in the summer if we can get Delap, but I wouldn't underestimate him once he gets a bit of fitness and confidence into him

The worrying thing is that he has broken down in the 1st half of a game in which he wasn't really going hell for leather. By his standards it was fairly timid pressing, most likely upon instruction but even that was enough to do it.

I'm at the stage of writing this one off as a disastrous signing. When fit and on a run of games, Richy gets the goal involvements and has great spirit. But now, we're most likely down to a 19 year old lightweight looking kid who has just arrived, or the tried and tested Son at CF routine.

No ill will towards Richy, on paper he is a brilliant back up for Solanke but a back up has got to be fit.

Would be nice if the primary was fit too.
