They would have discussed options and be on the same page regarding what players to go for.
Yes but that's different to him being a player that Conte specifically wants.

I don't rate him to improve us, I definitely don't at the cost of 60m, that's far from OTT
It's £50m being quoted. The 60m is euros, because it's from a Portuguese source.
Everton still owe us up-to £40m for Alli, so I'd expect some of those soon-to-be-met clauses might be used as an offset.

Still makes him a player that conte thinks will improve the squad.
Thinks/hopes/trusts
It doesn't really change anything - Conte wants a player to fill a hole in the squad, he either specifically highlights a player he wants or gives the DoF a list of criteria (age/prem proven etc) and goes with what he comes back with as he trusts the opinion of the DoF/that's the setup here.
A diver and a whinger. Not for me Clive
Exactly, you think having him stuck behind Deki, Kane and Son on the bench would a good thing when he is a known strop head.
Given we're in the CL, Richarlison would get plenty of games as those 4 would rotate and for every big game Conte would decide who is on best form or best suited to beat the opposition
Not how i understand it. Yes he will give a list of types of players he needs. Paratici will then get a list, who's available, in our price range and is interested. Then they go through them together to see which would be the best fits. Paratici will then go and try and get the deals done on the preferred players.
Conte is in charge of who plays. Paratici isn't going to get a player that conte will not play. He knows him.
Most teams revert to type and their strongest side in big games regardless, the fear factor dictates that so unless he is pushing he will get the crap games and comps, does not strike me as that type of player, if anything based on reports he is a trouble maker no?
