Are sell ons a percentage of the whole amount or the net amount above what you paid his previous club you have the clause with?

Of course they are of the whole amount of the next sale! You'd be utterly stupid if you only had a "net profit of next sale" sell on %. You could end up with nothing then, and clubs would ensure that too, so it would be pointless to even add such a clause.

Depends on what was negotiated. Paul O Keefe said this is 10% of the whole price.
