Ratings v Sunderland

He is not top six imo, his Celtic teams were as boring as hell, even in europe he stifled teams, I would not pay ?ú5 to watch one of his teams.

Well he got Villa consistently in the top 6 and even knocked on the door for 4th place. They've gone downhill fast since he left Villa.

Friedel 6
Walker 6
Gallas 6
Kaboul 7
Assou-Ekotto 6
Parker 5
Sandro 4
Modrić 6
Bale 6
v. der Vaart 5
Adebayor 6

Lennon 6
Defoe -
Saha -

Friedel 7 Nothing of note to do, but he was tidy.
Ekotto 7 Pretty good from Benny today.
Walker 5 Got caught out of position. Can only run in a straight line, cannot cross.
Kaboul 7 Untroubled.
Gallas 7 Ibid.
Sandro 2 Don't want to see this waste of space in the side again.
Parker 5 Someone needs to re-explain his role to him.
Modric 7 Couldn't really impose himself, but kept trying, not too bad from the wee man
VDV 5 Completely off the pace today.
Bale 6 Still coming inside too much.
Adebayor. 5 Not his day today. Not as much urgency from him as last wek.

Unbelievable.

Sandro 2 Don't want to see this waste of space in the side again.
.

He was our best and most promising DM last season.

Now people don't want him anywhere near the side.

Reminds me of that 'You were the future, once' quote Call Me Dave came out with.

How so? He has been pretty crap for weeks and was diabolical today. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial. Townsend all the way for me if we have to play two holding midfielders, but I would prefer Lennon in a 4-4-2.

You want to play Townsend as a holding midfielder..?

lost for words...

Sandro still put in a shift today and was part of a midfield that controlled the match. Yes he gave away a couple of cheap passes (who didn't?!) but to say his performance was worthy of a 2, and to claim you never want to see him in the side again is way OTT.

I think he would do a better job than Sandro at present. Not that that is saying much. He can tackle, he gets around the pitch well and he can do something which at present seems to be beyond Sandro... he can pass.

He's a winger and he's on loan at birmingham... 8-[

Andros Townsend as a holding midfielder. OK, you've officially proclaimed to the world that either :

a) you can't tell the difference between Livermore and Townsend
or
b) you are clueless about the strength's weaknesses of the Spurs players!!
