Randal Kolo Muani

Tbh I don’t blame anyone for not having an obligation to buy, imagine watching someone on loan and they don’t adapt to the league yet you still have to hand over a ton of cash at the end of it. Personally I think I’d only ever go for an option to buy or straight loan. I think obligation only ever works out when you’re happy you’re taking the player regardless and you’re trying to work it differently for financial reasons.

Could we see him play off the left at times? I know he plays more as a striker, but he can play across the front 3

Solanke
Muani Simons Kudus

Please someone give me reason to be excited about this signing. We have signed a player that only scored 8 in 36 at PSG, didn’t really want to come here given that he turned us down in January, and it’s just a loan. I would have preferred Lookman or Savinho.
Well he signed for Juventus on loan in January and scored 8 goals in 16 league matches which is better strike rate than any other player we have at the club. I think he is a better striker than both Solanke and Richalison

Has all the attributes to be a top top player. Let’s hope he kills it and feels like spurs is his home instead of being a journeyman.

…. Ever since I saw that he was linked to us I watched him very closely, my friends at psg and juventus were surprised to hear from me on a regular basis.

They said that he has ability and plays like a cross between ousmanne Dembele, Ronaldinho and prime Francis Jeffers.

8 in 36 at PSG but barely played.

But 8 in 16 at Juventus just the last season and 15 in 32 at Frankfurt and that's with him being a versatile forward not always playing as striker.

What a France squad this is; great company for our guy in Attack:

Ousmane Dembele (28)
Marcus Thuram (28)
Kylian Mbappe (26)
Random Koala Meanie (26 = coming into his peak with great experience in CL and top leagues)
Bradley Barcola (22)
Desire Doue (20)
Rayan Cherki (22)
Hugo Ekitike (23)

And in the U21s
Tel
Abline
Odobert
Barry
Tchaouna
Edjouma
Bahoya

Exactly.
No risk, all benefits signing for all involved.
If he smashes it and feels at home, hopefully we can sign him.
If he smashes it but a deal isn't possible or he'd rather be somewhere else long term - at least he'll have smashed it and we've reaped the rewards.
If he flops, we're not stuck with a duffer.

I'm assuming his PSG minutes were not as high as his games played would suggest given he would have been there around the time of Mbappe Messi & Neymar so used as a back up?

Excited. A quality forward. Frank needs some time now to meld the team.

He cost PSG so much, Juve couldn't agree a transfer fee. And if he does well we'll have to pay a ransom too.

Good transfer window. And we have Kulu, Madison, Dragusin, Udogie and Solanke to come back still.

No reason why he can’t be for us what Isak was for Saudi Sportswashing Machine. He will probably be playing for a full transfer in the summer aswell.

Why do we always leave things so late eh?

This feels driven by a fear about what might be up with Solanke. Glad the clkub are being pro-avtive just in case. I'm sure we all feel Richy might well get injured too...in fairness to Levy he's played a blinder here. Perhaps there really IS a relationship with PSG ownership?!!!

Yeah, I was just being facetious., not very funnily so.

Well, the slight risk is that he smashes it and thus becomes too expensive for us - it's why clubs try to include options (not obligations) in these sorts of deals. But, that's a bridge to cross when we get to it.

For now, it's welcome depth, and I think he might surprise a few folks - he's tailor-made for the Premier League. Fast, powerful, quick feet - we might see him playing off the left too, since he's difficult to get the ball off of when dribbling.
