Yesterday was his best game for us I thought. Played really well and looked really solid.

Other teams will attack us more than Villa but it's encouraging that we didn't miss Micky and his pace yesterday.

Arguably exactly the kind of game where we should have missed his pace the most. Them sitting back to counter quite a bit, but also them trying to build from the back and us pushing up to press.

Very good to see us be able to deal with that rather well without VdV too. His ridiculous pace is obviously super useful, but we have to be able to deal with it without that ridiculous level of pace too.

He was unfortunate on both occasions but seems slower on his feet than our other CBs who probably wouldn’t have needed an extra touch to deal with Davies sloppy pass and might have reacted better to Vicario parrying the ball towards him.

Judging by the highlights up on Sky Sports YouTube channel he tried to adjust his feet during the split second he had to react to Vicario’s parry but sliced his attempted clearance towards the net.

A bit harsh I know but what with the demands that Postecoglou’s system places upon CBs Dragusin’ lack of finesse with the ball at his feet is noticeable.

The weird thing is when we were looking for a new CB we all assumed it would be someone who was good at playing out from the back and composed on the ball. Dragusin, while a good defender, seems to be neither of those things

Becaue people are too scared to drop Romero... Despite him being a huge problem this season.

Still wainting a see a run of Drag's and VdV in defence.

I honestly don’t think any other defenders does better
We are crying out for a cab to take charge and lead that defence
