Radu Drăgușin

If it was so clear at the time it was an acl they would have never let him back on the field surely?

They absolutely shouldn't have. And the player clearly seemed to think it was a mad request too.

To be honest though, if it ligament had snapped, there's no more worse damage he could have done to it. It's doing to need a graft pinning in irrespective.

I think they reckon Gazza did his in the first tackle in 91, not the second one. So Dragusin may have got another couple of jogs in before a more spectacular collapse.

I think we'll miss the little things that Dragu does. Everyone pulls him apart because he's no twinkle toes. They completely forget that he just wins headers effortlessly that Gray and Davies lose and put us under pressure. I noticed immediately how VDV won headers effortlessly because of his frame. He is supposed to not be so good in the air.

VDV is gash in the air
The team we played yesterday were bad

Absolutely. You need a mix of styles. And our conceding from set pieces reduced massively when Dragusin came into the team.

I think for a young lad with his limited skillset Radu is great. But don't forget the heard he lost that ended up in Liverpool's 3rd goal. So he's not THAT effortless.

Spotted that. Really liked it. Objectively I hate it and think all treatment should be done off the field, but what else can you do but adapt to the current practice.
I always laugh with the Rugby format. Player goes down and the physios come on immediately to treat the player. While plays continues around them. I’ve seen some near misses

Someone (Ali Gold?) said earlier that maybe he just hyper extended it like VdV did a few months ago... fingers crossed it is not another lengthy lay off.

I agree with the poster above who hates the steep slope. Just like Old Trafford, it is really dangerous when a player is sprinting towards the edge and gets a shove into the hoardings.

Hopefully nothing's torn in his knee, but I fully expect him to be out for the season regardless.
Seems very likely something is torn... depends whether it is slightly torn or ripped to shreds, and which of the ligaments it is. We've had so much bad luck this season, surely something good has to go our way at some point?

We've had two consecutive wins and clean sheets, which is likely it for good fortune this season for us. 😜

Yes, it depends which ligament it is. ACL is a 9 monther. Any of the other 3 are maybe 3 monthers. And yeah you either get tears, which need graphs pinning in, or sprains, which heal themselves. Or it could be meniscus damage, which is more a 4 weeker.

I imagine if it was ACL we'd've heard already. They are easy to diagnose (you can just rock someones knee into your shoulder and tell if it has gone or not) and they probably would have operated on it already. Bentancur's 2 years ago was an example of that.

That’s all about the pitch
The slope on that side is sharp and the grass part is only about 2ft
We had a great view of it and it just looked as bad as it is
