How does that work even? Player agreed terms want3d Spurs then delayed? If there is truth in that then I def don't want him, although given the mixed up nature of reporting and ITKs it also reads like bollox

Got the same view, we've done all we can at this point. If he and his agent have fudged us round and he picks Munich, better off not having him at all.How does that work even? Hope we didnt gamble on us signing this guy and thats why we sent Philips out on loan. I know he wasnt starting, but at least he was a safety back up on the bench.
With Davies injured,I am hoping it means Romero must be ready to play on Sunday, alongside VDV and Royal can drop to the bench in place of Philips
They should be more concerned with the long time future, development and happiness of the part they're representing, namely the player, instead of being only concerned with lining their own pockets!Having a strong awareness of sports player agents through my editorial and commercial photography over the past four decades, I have no issue with them working to secure the best possible deal for their clients.
Fans may not like them but if you want to be representing the best clients over the long haul, an agent is compelled to secure the best possible price for his players.
On one hand, it keeps his player happy as it helps to maximize his salary. On the other hand, it pleases the selling team as they got the best possible return for their player, an important factor for future dealings.

Maybe Bayern are just sticking their oar in with Dragusin to make Spurs weaker when negotiating Dier i.e. Bayern can say "we'll step away from Dragusin if you give us Dier for 50 pence"I'd assume we're holding off letting Dier go to Bayern until Dragusin is complete
Many of them actually are. They should be more concerned with the long time future, development and happiness of the part they're representing, namely the player, instead of being only concerned with lining their own pockets!
Him deciding not to come to us does not bother me, but if it means bayern don't buy Dier, then I will fcuking hate him.
You're assuming the agent will make more of a return by getting him to sign to Bayern. If the transfer fee is similar and the wages in the same ballpark the agent will net roughly the same return. They should be more concerned with the long time future, development and happiness of the part they're representing, namely the player, instead of being only concerned with lining their own pockets!
Lol if he did i would just about forgive him for playing son left back in the semi final against man u.See if Poch will buy him before he gets sacked.
Depends on which club I think will give me more game timeYou're assuming the agent will make more of a return by getting him to sign to Bayern. If the transfer fee is similar and the wages in the same ballpark the agent will net roughly the same return.
Potentially advising his client to choose Bayern doesn't have be some crazy financially led decision, but instead a sensible football one.
Objectively speaking given the choice between the two clubs, which club would you join?
I would weigh up all the elements; game time, development prospects, sporting prospects, potential sporting achievements, wages and progression, suitability to the system in place, stability of the club etc. Then also the personal things like language, location etc.Depends on which club I think will give me more game time
At this point, if he goes to Bayern it looks like it was the player's choice. If that's the case and he wasn't convinced by Ange, I won't be bothered, especially for a player I hadn't even heard about two weeks ago. We're not going to rebuild the team in a couple of windows, much less the January one. Would rather get someone in like VdV, who absolutely wanted to be here, than someone who will be looking for his next move, be it agent- or self-driven.
And if that means we're short on the CB side for now, so be it. More important to get the right player than someone in early. Again VdV is the example. It happened late, but it was totally the right player.
and then upped it to £90m without being prompted tooThey always play Kim and Upamecano with De Ligt on the bench although I think he has been injured a fair bit.
This only makes sense if they think they can sell De Ligt in the summer for 60m plus. Wouldn’t surprise me if chelsea have indicated they will spend even more than that on De Ligt in the summer. Bayern probably asked for 60m and chelsea offered £75m lol
If we don’t get him then we need to move pretty sharpish to get someone who wants to be here.
I suppose the issue would be Todibo was likely the first choice and Radu the next option. At this point if we do have to look for someone else it might not be such an obvious choice. We should have alternatives. Especially as we've known about byerns interest for a few days.
Was hoping we'd get someone in, in time for the utd game. That's not looking good now.
