Got the same view, we've done all we can at this point. If he and his agent have fudged us round and he picks Munich, better off not having him at all.
 
Hope we didnt gamble on us signing this guy and thats why we sent Philips out on loan. I know he wasnt starting, but at least he was a safety back up on the bench.
With Davies injured,I am hoping it means Romero must be ready to play on Sunday, alongside VDV and Royal can drop to the bench in place of Philips

Allegedly we are holding off loaning dorrington to milwall until someone comes in.

They should be more concerned with the long time future, development and happiness of the part they're representing, namely the player, instead of being only concerned with lining their own pockets!

I'd assume we're holding off letting Dier go to Bayern until Dragusin is complete

Many of them actually are.

The best ones understand that their clients development needs come through playing time at whatever level the player is best suited to.

Not through training and playing for U-nderage squads on big clubs where an immediate breakthrough to the top squad is unlikely. No agent wants to see a client flounder at a big club and have to be sold/loaned out to some lower rated club, especially in a league that isn't in France, Italy, Spain or Germany.

What gets fans pizssed off is when a player egotistically ignores that advice or when a club simply throws too much money to say no to at a player they want to keep away from a rival club. Agents are advisers, not controllers.

You're assuming the agent will make more of a return by getting him to sign to Bayern. If the transfer fee is similar and the wages in the same ballpark the agent will net roughly the same return.

Potentially advising his client to choose Bayern doesn't have be some crazy financially led decision, but instead a sensible football one.

Objectively speaking given the choice between the two clubs, which club would you join?

I would weigh up all the elements; game time, development prospects, sporting prospects, potential sporting achievements, wages and progression, suitability to the system in place, stability of the club etc. Then also the personal things like language, location etc.

100% this, if he doesn't want to be here then I don't want him here. We're past that phase now, plenty of players who will be attracted to what we offer so lets find someone else.

I suppose the issue would be Todibo was likely the first choice and Radu the next option. At this point if we do have to look for someone else it might not be such an obvious choice.
