Quickest way to lose weight?

I'm fooked, misses said tonight we are BOTH joining a gym when the baby arrives.

I said only if I can have a hot tub and sauna out the back.

the reason i'm having a tough tijme with it is cause i consume much more and anything significantly less than that would be bad for me in particular

KD, not wanting to alarm you or anything but have you seen your doctor about this? i dont think that metabolic rate of yours is ticking well

basically your metabolism is THAT slow that in comparison to what you eat and what you use there is a BIG differential.

you can get through 1000 calories on a bike in like 40 minutes to an hour depending on how fast / hard you pedal....yet eating 1000 calories only drops you half a stone

10 and a half stone dead on. I'm 5'9 so it's not as if i'm overweight but i'm not exaggerating when i say it's damn near impossible for me to lose any more weight.
 
i've just realised.......ALL of us are advising you wrong i think. not on the science and mechanics etc but in the idea of actually enabling you to lose more weight.

your about 5"10 with shoes on and your treading the SUB 10 stone mark?

you need to PUT ON more weight. no wonder your gain weight quickly and cant lose it quick enough...your body is TELLING you something bro. its telling you "ENOUGH!! i dont want to die!!!!"

only joking mate, but from where i am sitting you are more than fine and would be better off just putting on lean muscle at home.

push ups, sit ups , lunges and light squats.....some core execercises too.

you dont need to lose ANYTHING

i'm thinking that mediacl condition aside, your body actually WANTS to gain the weight, infact i think you might have been through too many crash diets. i totally agree with uksb on this....its not good for your body to be on those kind of diets for long(ish) then suddenly start eating normal...you WILL put on weight mega fast cause your body is reacting to not having enough ...and to prempt that happening again its storing literally everything it can..so once it takes what it needs everything esle goes into reserves...aka fat cells / deposits around the body..and stays there till they break lose to give energy when you do physicakl exertion

do you find that you DONT take a dump as often as most people?

well i'm probably 5'9 and a half with shoes realistically :lol:. I want to be bang on 10 before i start hitting the weights properly again which is why i want to lose half a stone asap. I have a plan AS and with this plan i can't go wrong muahahahah muhahahahah muhahahahah.





Sadly it's taking me way longer to lose the weight then expected:(
 
seriously, your body is NOT breaking down enough good stuff , which would have invariably lead to unwanted stuff thats broken down being brick out, instead its just breaking stuff either slower..or its not breaking down enough ....and its just storing loads quickly to prepare for the next thing thats equivalent to a world war rationing.

No. sorry but no. and it doesnt even make sense to lose the half stone BEFORE you go to the gym

if anything you'll need that as energy resreves to do more work in the gym to kick your metabolism into gear for longer and work your muscles for longer.....if you crash diet then go to the gym your weaker when you go there and you'll need to eat MORE anyway.

this is why people say that you shouldnt lose more than two pounds a week if your looking to get a really toned , muscular body.

I'm not going to end up anorexic or anything. I simply feel more comfortable at the 10 stone mark and from then i can actually work on my upper body strength.

its so funny how far apart you and i are on what we are looking for physique wise

i'm 6'2 .....18 and half stone or closer to 19 stone........and i actually want to get BIGGER!!! LOL

why even lose weight when you have a woman and you plan to go to he gym anyway? wy not just go to the gym?
 
KD I have a bit of spare weight if you want? Im happy to just give it to you for free - I have invested a fair bit too but more than happy to give it away. Just say the word.
 
10 and a half stone @ 5 foot 9 isn't bad at all, why would you want to lose more weight? If you think that most of that is fat, then try to change your composition by gaining more muscle - then you can focus on dropping fat afterwards for a leaner look.

If you want to improve upper body strength - do it now. Your body will be more capable of gaining mass if you're half a stone heavier anyway, that extra weight will in turn help you shift heavier mass anyway. Ypu could always go on a strength-building programme in these winter months and look to lose fat around April/May in time for summer.

Make sure you take Psyllium Husk if you're not regular.

They'll give you a king kongs finger in the morning

I used to take them when not eating carbs. I am sure that Gifter would approve too
