Pushing Up The Daisies

Sad. I found his films a bit hit and miss (love Elephant Man and Straight Story), but one thing i always felt was that he just seemed an awesome kind of a guy. Interesting, generous. Not like the usual creeps and clams you get in hollywood

I fell in love with Twin Peaks back in the early 90s. Didn’t always understand what the f uck was going on, but he created such an interesting atmosphere on that show, and the way he shot it was groundbreaking.

Denis Law

The Lawman was a great player and a hell of a nice guy, i met him a few times through the FA and he was always good fun and a caring man. Second only to Greaves as a goalscorer in my opinion and said the same to him he just laughed and said your right. RIP.

A truly great player, I agree he was a lovely bloke, met him in hotel bar in Glasgow and chatted with him until his party turned up. Despite all the forward talent Untied had I always felt he was the danger.

Yeh same, I still don't know what it was about and have read up on it, still don't, but it was mystical. Mullholland Drive was beyond odd and I just couldn't watch it all, but Blue Velvet is genius

Me too! was only 13-14 when it was aired, but it was mesmerising and a bit scary. Got really spooked the first time "killer Bob" appeared!
Liked Blue Velvet too and quite a few other moves.

Terrible news, I remember him getting 2 goals on his full debut in 4-4 draw at WHL on Boxing Day in 1980, car crash set him back and he never fulfilled his potential, had a rocket of a shot.
I was at that match, squashed onto the shelf. Was an amazing day. It’s a real shame

Got a request to play a great song tomorrow night at the weekly jamming session - The Weight by The Band.

Garth Hudson, last remaining member dies today, aged 87. RIP.

I'll be playing for Garth tomorrow.
