You do not feel the same way about Zionists since you seem to endorse their religious claim to land from 3000 years ago. This is where your values fall over. It is not based on reality. I've got no truck with their religious claims whatsoever, not sure where you've got that idea from.
I think their right to that land is based on the fact that it's the only way for the residents of Israel to see something resembling safety.

What people's land? Palestine has long been disputed and changed hands multiple times.
Facts:
- It was the kingdom of Judea and ruled by the jewish Hasmonean dynasty until c. 37BC when it was conquered by the Romans.
- It remained majority jewish in population and culture but ruled by the Romans up until circa 324. The Romans allowed jewish culture and customs to continue as long as taxes were paid.
- From 324 it was ruled as part of the Byzantine Empire / East Roman Empire and remained majority jewish up until c. 638
- It was conquered by the muslim caliphate of Rushidan. This led to arab/muslim settlers and kicked off the crusades where European crusaders at various points wrestled back control and the conflict became one between Christian crusaders and muslims jihadists.
- While the caliphate eventually triumphed over the crusaders they were conquered by the Ottomans in 1516. Under the Ottomans jewish and christian populations dwindled further
- In 1917 Palestine was conquered by the British in WW1 as British forces overran and defeated the Ottoman Empire capturing Jerusalem. The British established an international mandate to divide the territory into an arab and jewish state. "The Two State Solution" but WW2 and the collapse of the British Empire, Palestinian war led to all that being shelved and where we are today

If Palestine came under Israel, the people that currently live in Palestine would be better off rather than live in a state ran by terrorists. The Arabs that live in Israel are proposing and love Israel.

Byzantine was greek. The Romans referred to the district of the Empire as "Syria Palestinea"

Palestine is looking like it’s going to go the same way of Lebanon. Lebanon got invaded by the PLO backed by Syria, the Islamists over threw the Christian majority and claimed the country for themselves.

Actually it was Britain and France fudging around with it after WW1 that caused all the problems. Colonialism creates decades and centuries of trauma. Just some respect and application of self-determination could solve everything. Same with the Kurds
