I must have missed that. I only saw a militaristic, religious zealot, federalist, spendthrift. I think the country declined significantly socially and economically, particularly from about 2000/2001

Dark times
Nothing new been released by Reform on economic policy. Unsure why it would be a disaster either, mainly involves increasing tax thresholds, which is the easiest way to putting money in the pockets of the poorest and small businesses whilst boosting economic growth at the bottom end and will end up with the wealthier and large corps shouldering the bulk of the tax burden without making it unattractive to do business here.....I see Farage PLC released his manifesto in the Daily Mail and frankly its laughable. Loads of top line sound bites like "Drill baby drill" but again zero detail.
Edit:
And the judgements are already damming

I am not sure there's been a more chameleon like politician in no. 10 than Starmer.Have to say, I'm really fudged off with labour, they are supposed to be making the argument for immigration, not parroting right wing flimflam.
That and their disgusting betrayal of the trans community and they have pretty much lost me already.

Something that is increasingly lost on labour voters/members in affluent metropolitan areas. For example, Labour were traditionally anti-EU and were for decades:They are meant to represent the working class british.
Or are you being sarcastic?
Something that is increasingly lost on labour voters/members in affluent metropolitan areas. For example, Labour were traditionally anti-EU and were for decades:
- They saw the removal of legislative powers and control over economic levers as a watering down of the power of protest and the vote from ordinary working people and the economic treaties, including prohibitions/limitations on state aid and investment as a consolidation of neoliberalism and free market capitalism.
Which is why more and more people are voting for likes of Reform and Green as who knows what the main parties stand for anymore....The lines have been ripped apart.
Free trade and globalisation somehow has been seen as left wing now.
Where more protectionism is seen as right wing.
fudge left or right though. Just vote for what you feel is right or wrong.

And they were right. Corbyn should have held his nerve and declared full leaver. There's too much lingering Thatcherism-Blairism in Labour still though

Agree with the bold bit.Thatcher and blair are very different. Blair was trying to be a social democrat. Where thatcher was a neo conservative. Corbyn a socialist/marxist.
I'd go with blair even with his faults.
Cut out the mass immigration and the nordic model is the best.
Blair was a full blown neo-lib. He just continued the demolition of the state and of communities. And now he's gone climate denier nutjob too.Thatcher and blair are very different. Blair was trying to be a social democrat. Where thatcher was a neo conservative. Corbyn a socialist/marxist.
